Please note that online booking closes at 4pm on the day prior to the date of a tour, however you can check tour availability on the day and reserve tickets by calling the booking line on +44(0)1290 421 742.

  • This in-depth 90 minute tour provides extended access to the House and its collections.

  • A 60 minute tour presenting the highlights of the collection and the history of the House.

  • An Art Tour focusing on the fine paintings displayed throughout the House. Sundays 18th May, 20th July, 31st August or 26th October.

  • Focusing on the clock collection and Grand Orrery of Dumfries House. Sundays 20th April, 22nd June, 27th July or 7th September.

  • Join our Head Guide or a Senior Guide on this occasional tour which focusses on Thomas Chippendale, his life, work and the Dumfries House collection. Sundays 4th May, 1st June, 17th August, 28th September.

  • Enjoy a night of locally sourced Ayrshire products in Dumfries House. Be welcomed into the Entrance Hall with a drinks reception, followed by an exquisite menu showcasing the best delights Ayrshire has to offer as we promote sustainability.

  • Enjoy a pre-film meal at Dumfries House. A drink upon arrival before a three course plated meal, with full bar available on the night. Ticket for film not included.
