Head of Finance (part time 3 days per week)
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
You will play a crucial role in the financial stewardship of The Foundation and its subsidiary companies in support of its mission and to ensure transparency of accounting processes, financial decisions and reporting. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting processes and will manage the contractual arrangement with The Foundation’s accounting service partner.
This role is a key member of the Senior Management Team of a diverse organisation, and expected to take a proactive approach to the financial activities of The Foundation, and its expanding financial needs and operations world-wide.
Key tasks for this role are-
- Contracts and commercial agreements for various arrangements including fees for services; performance bonuses; equity arrangements in lieu of fees;
- Accounting of project activities including project management systems, work in process, etc.
- Overseas arrangements including foreign exchange issues, contracts, and trading entities
- Supporting strategic and business planning processes including capital budgets, forecasting and financial control models.
A key priority for the Head of Finance will be to support The Foundation’s increased use of performance measurement. Accordingly, the Head of Finance will help develop and manage performance metrics, financial analysis and tools to support decision-making and drive results.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate with a connection to our mission. They will be experienced across a range of finance functions including controllership and treasury at recognised, well-respected for-profit or not-for-profit organisations. Chartered accountant or equivalent qualification required with significant experience of progressively responsible financial experience covering a broad range of processes, some which should be in a similar executive position.

Marketing & Communications Manager
36,000 – 46,000 per annum, pro rata (candidates interested in working 3 or 4 days will also be considered)
Working closely with the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees, the role will be responsible for developing and delivering all aspects of The Prince’s Foundation fro the Built Environment’s (PFBE’s) marketing and communications strategy. This role will be responsible for increasing PFBE’s visibility and supporting its growth strategy and will be instrumental in the advancement and positioning of PFBE and its leaders. The Marketing and Communications Manager will be the key driver developing our messaging and thought leadership activities, communications plans to build identity, support brand growth, lead generation, business development support and customer retention strategies.

The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals for a unique opportunity to take part in unpaid internships.
You’ll find yourself at the heart of the action. You’ll gain real experience in a real role, working on anything from organising events and marketing projects to research and analysis.
Internships generally last between 1- 3 months and between three to five days a week. Placements are voluntary and unpaid; however we will reimburse your travel and lunch expenses.
