Regional Visits
Guided tours to new project sites throughout the United Kingdom that demonstrate traditional urbanism as well as the timeless principles of good design. These tours will be led by Foundation staff or professional partners.

Membership Magazine and Annual Review
The Annual Review, a journal of the Foundation’s activities, is sent to all members. Members also enjoy reading the , in addition to other Foundation publications, to keep up-to-date with Foundation work, forthcoming events and seminars.
Executive Education
Our Education initiative teaches skills in successful place-making through tailored seminars and workshops for urban designers, building craftsmen, architects, planners, engineers and developers. Members receive priority and discounted packages.

Tours to venues not usually open to the public, such as St Martin’s-in-the-Fields, Buckingham Palace, Duchy Home Farm and Highgrove Gardens under the expert guidance of the curators and architects who work there.

Professional Membership Benefits
Opportunities to work directly with The Foundation are now formalised and generated through the Professional Scheme.
We are working hard to formalise and grow our network of skilled professionals and this scheme is aimed at those who are committed to the design values and built environment principles held by The Foundation and with whom we can take forward the principles of timeless urbanism.
In Addition to all the benefits of general membership (listed above), the most important benefits available to Professional Members include:
- Eligibility for The Foundation’s referral service and to work formally as an associated partner
- Additional branding benefit of being issued with the Enrolled Practice logo (Enrolled Practices only)
- Networking opportunities via the exclusive membership area on the Foundation website where individual and practice profiles can be viewed by members of the public as well as your professional associates. Enrolled practices also have the opportunity to share news and interact with other members via a blog.
- Enrolled Practice Membership extends to include up to four colleagues within your organisation.
Facilities hire discounts
Professional Enrolled Practice Members receive a 15% discount against Gallery and Board Room hire. The purpose for hire of the Gallery and Board Room is subject to approval. Find out more about our facilities for hire.
