Architectural Visit to Kensington Palace
Following a competition in 2008, John Simpson, the architect who designed the new Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, was engaged to make vital improvements to Kensington Palace, notably an inviting new entrance. John Simpson outlined his work during the tour, together with Ben Bolgar, Director of Design Theory and Networks from The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment. The Prince of Wales gives the annual lecture at the headquarters of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London, for it's 175th anniversary year.
